GPS tracking for cement transporters

GPS tracking for cement bulkers and bag trucks: plant and depot geofences, turnaround time, diesel per trip, detour alerts and the daily trip report dealers and cement companies ask for.

Cement transport is a game of turnaround. A bulker that does two plant-to-site trips a day instead of three has lost a third of its earning, and the reasons are usually invisible: a queue at the packing plant, a long halt at a dhaba, a detour to a site that was not on the challan. Cement companies now ask their transporters for trip data, and the transporter who has it gets the next contract.

SaralTrack is set up for the cement run: geofences on plants, depots and sites, trip and halt reports that show where the hours went, a fuel log that flags the trucks using more diesel than the route justifies, and logins for your dispatch team and, if you want, for the cement company’s logistics desk.

What cement transporters ask us

The problems this solves

Turnaround time at the plant

Plant geofence entry and exit times for every truck show the loading queue in hours. Share it with the plant to fix the slot, or use it to price the waiting.

Detours and unauthorised unloading

An alert when a loaded truck leaves the route corridor or stops longer than a set time away from a known site. The stop report shows every halt with the address.

Diesel per trip

The fuel log closes a stretch at every full fill and shows km per litre per truck. A truck 15 percent below the fleet average is flagged automatically.

Reports the cement company wants

Daily trip report per truck: plant out time, site in time, distance, halts. Export to Excel or PDF, or give the company a read-only login.

Driver behaviour on the ghats and highways

Overspeed and harsh event alerts with the location. Cement bulkers overturn; a speed report per driver is the cheapest safety programme available.

Questions about cement transporters

Call us on [PHONE] or write to [EMAIL]. We answer the same day.

Can the cement company see my trucks?

Only if you want. You can give the company a read-only login that shows the trucks on their contract and nothing else.

Do bulkers need a special GPS device?

No. A standard wired tracker with an ignition line works. For national permit bulkers an AIS-140 certified device is required and we supply those too.

Can I track trucks owned by attached operators?

Yes. Fit a device on each attached truck and group them under the operator in a branch, so you see the whole fleet and each operator sees their own.
