GPS tracking for construction companies
GPS tracking for contractors and equipment rental: engine hours and idle time on excavators and loaders, site geofences, tipper trip counts, after-hours alerts and theft recovery.
A construction fleet mixes machines that earn by the hour with tippers and transit mixers that earn by the trip, spread across sites that change every few months. The site engineer knows roughly what ran today; the head office finds out at month end, from a diesel bill that does not match.
SaralTrack tracks both kinds of vehicle in one account: engine hours and idle time for excavators, loaders and cranes, trip counts between the crusher and the site for tippers, and site geofences that put every machine on the right project automatically. Parking alerts cover the machines left on site at night.
The problems this solves
Machine hours for billing and costing
Engine hours from the ignition line, per machine per day, filtered by site. Rental companies share the same report with the client.
Idle fuel
Idle hours per machine and per operator. A loader idling four hours a day burns ₹1,000 of diesel doing nothing.
Tipper trips between crusher and site
Geofences on the crusher and the site count the round trips automatically; the stop report shows the halts in between.
Machines running at night
Ignition and movement alerts outside working hours, and parking mode that raises a towing alert when a parked machine moves or loses power.
Which site is the machine on
The visit report answers it per machine per day, replacing the deployment whiteboard.

Questions about construction companies
Call us on [PHONE] or write to [EMAIL]. We answer the same day.
Can GPS count engine hours on a machine?
Yes. With the tracker’s ignition input wired to the key switch, the system records every start and stop and totals engine, moving and idle hours per day.
Does tracking work on remote sites?
The device stores positions when there is no mobile network and sends them when coverage returns, so the hours and trips are complete even on remote sites.
Can my clients see the machines they hire?
Yes. Each client gets a login that shows only their machines and the hours report their bill is based on.
